So. About Those 2022 Health Goals?

Y’all. We are in month four of 2022. Insane, right?! This year is flying by, even quicker than last year, it seems. It seems like just last week, I was posting a blog about making healthier choices for the year. Well, here we are–in the second quarter of 2022. By the way, Happy April!


I must say there are some great things I have done to improve my health, thus far, and there are some things that I have to improve on, for sure. Hey, becoming healthier is a journey. I would say that what I need to work on the most is simply consistency. I know how to prepare healthy meals and have done so numerous times. I will also go for a walk for a while, but I get inconsistent at times.


So, what have I been up to regarding my health? What steps have I been consistently taking to better myself so far this year?

  • Well, the one thing I can say I have been doing consistently since the first week of the year is drinking a green smoothie or a green juice daily. This way, I ensure that no matter what I get a daily dose of greens in!

What can I improve on?

  • Honestly, being more consistent with meal prepping is something that I can improve on. I will say that my diet is, overall, better than it was last year, but there’s definitely still improvements that need to be made. Meal prepping is great— especially for people who are on the run or people who have busy schedules. One of my favorite quotes is “failing to prepare is preparing to fail”, and that’s no different with eating. Even if I do not meal prep daily, I would, at the very least, like to know what I am going to cook the day before, so that I am well-prepared for the day ahead!
