Deep Conditioning Ft. Rizo's Curls
The weather is slowly cooling down. Wait. In some parts of the United States, the weather is slowly starting to cool down. However, if you live in Mississippi (or anywhere in the Deep South), well, you know it is still rather hot here.
Regardless, cool temperatures are creeping upon us, and what does that mean for us curly girls? Drier hair! That means that we really have to be mindful to ensure that our curls, coils, kinks, and waves are moisturized and well-maintained.
Recently, I tried a new deep conditioner from my Target called Rizo’s Curls. I was searching the Target app looking for deep conditioners and ran across this one. It piqued my interest, so I decided to read a few reviews. Most of them were great, and I went ahead and took the plunge *add to cart. *
The following Sunday, after a long day of having an excruciating headache, I decided to wash my hair and deep condition with my new Rizo’s Curls deep conditioner. Upon applying it to my hair, my curls and coils immediately felt hydrated! I left it in my hair for roughly five minutes. While that is not a long time for a deep conditioning treatment, this product achieved a lot within those five minutes! Here are three things I noticed upon rinsing my hair:
Butter-soft Curls.
My hair felt like butter! Not the kind that you just took out of the fridge- the kind that your mother leaves on the countertop to melt for a while before baking a pound cake (okay, now I want pound cake. Mom, come hither!)
2. Ooh. Shiny!
Perhaps it was the sunflower oil (or the argan oil, or the olive oil, or the coconut oil) in the deep conditioner, but my hair was exceptionally shiny, even after rinsing out the deep conditioner.
3. Definition.
While my hair was not super defined, I noticed more definition after rinsing out the Rizo’s Curls deep conditioner than I have with other deep conditioners.
Ultimately, I give Rizo’s Curls deep conditioner five golden stars. I am completely satisfied with this product, and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.
